I have lived in Radford Semele for 49 years and am happy to defend in any way possible the nature of village life and resist any threat to the village envelope.
I worked at the Post Office as a counter clerk and rising to be the manager of Hertford Street PO Coventry. After 28 years I moved to the NHS working with people with an enduring mental illness and/or a learning disability. I also maintained a resource known as the Learning Disability Database. Being very much a village person I stood for election to the Parish Council, successfully, in 1987 and served until 2003, being Vice-Chairman 1992-1994, Chairman 1994-1996 and Chairman of the Planning Sub-Committee. I re-joined the Council in May 2015 and have been Chairman since November 2017.
Village Poppy Appeal Organiser since 1997.
Past Chairman, Vice-President and President of Radford Sports and Social Club. Now a Trustee.
Vice-Chairman, Leamington Spa Royal British Legion Branch 2010 to date.
