Josie Sanderson
I became interested in the work of the Parish Council through attending meetings on behalf of our village environmental group, Friend’s of Radford’s Green Environment (FoRGE), and was co-opted onto the Council in May 2023.
I have lived in the village for 20 years and I’m passionate about celebrating both Radford Semele and the amazing rural location that surrounds us; I would like to work towards increasing the biodiversity and sustainability of the village, whilst also working to protect the village envelope.
I was a member of the PTA whilst my son attended Radford Primary School, and I am now a member of the FoRGE Footpath Group, meeting up once a month to clear, maintain and improve the amazing network of footpaths in the village.
I am passionate about textiles and am a member of Warwickshire Stitchers, based in Leamington; I also love listening to music, and walking and bird watching with my husband.
