Opened 21st January 2021 - Closes 18th March 2021
Warwickshire County Council is in the process of updating the current Local Transport Plan (LTP), which is a document that sets out the transport needs, challenges, priorities and objectives for the county.
An LTP sets policies to shape future transport schemes and developments within the County. It allows us, as the County Council, to channel resources to deliver a transport network that gives people who live and work in Warwickshire access to the facilities they need to go about their daily lives.

The current LTP3 covers the period from 2011 to 2026, but it has become outdated and is hard to navigate. We need to update the LTP to meet the challenges and opportunities of the changing world we live in.
We are at the early stages of updating the LTP (known as LTP4) and although it will not be published until 2022, we would like your input now to help us determine the priorities which the plan should address. We are consulting on the four main themes, which are described in this questionnaire, along with some of the key benefits and issues associated with each theme.
We will consider all the information from this consultation as we progress with developing LTP4. Your feedback will help us work towards developing a transport plan that reflects the views of the local community and wider stakeholders. Once we have developed a draft LTP4 there will be further opportunity for you to share your views on this detailed document draft during another public consultation. We anticipate further details on progress and consultation will be published later in 2021.
