Improvement works due to start on Monday 10th May postponed due to the effects of the wet weather on the field surface.

Skateboard Park

The work planned to start this Monday 10th May to refurbish the Skatepark has had to be postponed.  The recent bouts of heavy rain has softened the ground considerably making it unsuitable for heavy plant to cross it without causing considerable damage.

This work will be rescheduled to later in the year when hopefully the ground will be drier and more able to the heavy plant needed to undertake the work.

Zip Wire (Cableway)

The works to dismantle the zip wire and remove the two earth mounds will commence on Monday 17th May (weather permitting). 

This involves using the excavated material to fill the ditch to the south of the new houses (formerly the Lodge).

Please be aware that construction plant will be crossing the playing filed. The works are planned to take a week but may extend into the following week.
